About Lisa

Author | Speaker | Social Impact Entrepreneur

Lisa Bellile is the founder of United We Learn™, a mission-driven social impact business that supports early childhood and elementary-aged children — and the caring adults in their lives — through stories, resources, and experiences that build connection, belonging, and emotional safety.

With more than 20 years of experience in public education, special education, social-emotional learning, and relationship-building, Lisa has dedicated her career to helping children feel seen, valued, supported, and connected. Her background includes work as a special education teacher, SEL coordinator, life coach, speaker, and Youth Mental Health First Aid trainer.

United We Learn grew from a need Lisa saw again and again: children thrive when caring adults intentionally create moments of trust, connection, and belonging. She also recognized that not every family, school, or community has easy access to trusted connection-building resources, supportive tools, or shared language around emotional safety. Through books, SEL resources, family connection activities, caregiver workshops, and school experiences, United We Learn gives children and adults simple, meaningful ways to feel seen, valued, supported, and connected in everyday life.

Lisa is the author of United We Learn, United We Learn: Early Reader’s Edition, and United We Learn: Families of Every Kind, a #1 New Release on Amazon in the Extended Families category.

At the heart of Lisa’s work is the message:
Kindness is our compass. Belonging is our true north. Together, United We Learn!

I think more now than ever it’s important that kids are getting out and getting active since we’ve had a lot of time isolated and by ourselves. Getting kids out and being a part of something other than the classroom setting, you get to see kids who really excel in stuff like this with the obstacle course and being that big teammate and someone who’s a leader that you might not notice in the classroom,” said Pioneer Elementary School’s Social Emotional Learning Coordinator Lisa Bellile.
